The Tata Curvv EV gets launched on 7 August 2024. Here are all the live updates from the launch event. . This is Tata’s first coupe SUV, competing with mid-size SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and VW Taigun.
The Tata Curvv is launching with a fully electric variant. Petrol and diesel versions will follow. Its main rival is the upcoming Citroen Basalt. The Curvv features a unique design with European-inspired elements. It has a sloping roofline that smoothly transitions into a flat boot with a sharp, slim connected tail lamp setup. The rear bumper has multiple creases, adding a dynamic look. The front resembles the Tata Nexon with a bold grille, sleek LED DRLs, and projector headlights in the lower bumper.
The Tata Curvv has impressive dimensions. It measures 4,308 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width, and 1,630 mm in height. The wheelbase is 2,560 mm, and it offers around 422 litres of boot space. The Curvv’s features include a panoramic sunroof, Level-2 ADAS, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It also has ventilated front seats, an air purifier, ambient lighting, an auto-dimming IRVM, and a powered tailgate.
The Curvv will offer two battery pack options. Although full details are not yet available, one variant is likely to have a 50kW battery pack. This should provide an estimated range of 450-500 km on a single charge.
