Ola Electric’s CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal, recently teased the upcoming Ola Roadster electric bike on his social media platforms. Earlier, glimpses of the bike’s battery pack and motor hinted at more details about its motor, frame, and other components.

Aggarwal disclosed that the launch timeline for Ola Electric’s new bikes aligns closely with the timeline mentioned in the company’s IPO (Initial Public Offering) documents. Previously, the brand introduced four concept bikes: Roadster, Diamondhead, Adventure, and Cruiser.

The Ola Roadster is one of the most eagerly awaited electric bikes from Ola Electric. Initial patent images that appeared online provided a sneak peek at its design. Alongside the Roadster, designs for two other bikes were also unveiled.

The Roadster features a sharp design, reminiscent of the previously revealed Roadster concept, including a similar headlight design. It will be equipped with a frame-mounted motor connected to a chain or belt drive. The most budget-friendly Roadster variant is expected to deliver performance comparable to a 125cc petrol bike or similar to the Revolt RV400.

Constructed on a double cradle frame, the Roadster is fitted with a telescopic fork and a monoshock for suspension. The patent images also show the bike with alloy wheels and wider tires, consistent with the concept design. It is anticipated to feature a TFT console with smartphone connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation, along with a 4-directional switchgear to control the console.

The Roadster is projected to launch between April and September 2025, with an expected price range of Rs 1.4 lakh to Rs 1.7 lakh. It will compete with models like the Revolt RV400 and Tork Kratos R.
