The Komaki Ranger, an electric cruiser developed by the Japanese manufacturer, is produced in India and comes in two variants: the Ranger XE and the top-tier Ranger XP. The XE variant is priced at Rs 1,68,000, while the XP variant is available for Rs 1,85,000 (both ex-showroom prices).

Komaki Ranger Performance

Powered by a 5kW hub motor, the Ranger achieves a claimed top speed of 80kmph. The Ranger XE variant offers a range of 160-180km per charge, whereas the Ranger XP extends this range to 200-250km, making it suitable for both city commutes and longer rides.

Komaki Ranger Features

The Komaki Ranger is equipped with a host of modern features. It includes a 7-inch TFT screen with smartphone connectivity, navigation, and Bluetooth calling capabilities. Other features encompass LED headlights, a USB charging port, a side stand sensor, cruise control, and a reverse mode. A standout feature of the Ranger is its 'dual sound pipes', which produce artificial flames and sounds to simulate the experience of riding a traditional petrol-powered cruiser. Both variants come with panniers; the XE version has 30-litre storage capacity, while the XP offers 50-litre storage. Additionally, the XP variant is fitted with a large windshield, and both versions come with a cushioned pillion backrest for added comfort.

The Ranger is equipped with a telescopic front suspension and an adjustable rear suspension, ensuring a smooth ride. For braking, it uses disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels. Safety features include a leg guard and rear protection guard.
